The UbiBot® WS1 Pro-L is a versatile LoRa-enabled environmental monitor designed for field and facility applications. Its 4.4″ high-definition LCD presents multiple sensor readings—temperature, humidity, light levels, and PT100 inputs—in an intuitive format, empowering quick decision-making on site. Dual USB ports allow you to add external sensors or probe interfaces (RS485), making the UbiBot LoRa Smart Sensor WS1 Pro-L a true multi-parameter hub.
Power it with four standard AA batteries for remote setups or with a Micro-USB adapter indoors. Even when connectivity is interrupted, the device logs up to 50,000 readings locally and automatically uploads once a LoRa link is re-established. Speaking of links, its LoRa radio delivers low-power, long-range transmission to any UbiBot LoRa Gateway, supporting networks of up to 100 sensors. UbiBot LoRa Smart Sensor – Probe Selection (Optional):
– UbiBot WS1 Pro-L has two Micro USB ports for connecting external probes or USB power-supply.
– Both Micro USB ports can be used for an external DS18B20 temperature probe. Temperature range (-55 to 125 ℃) with 3 or 5 meters round cable.
– One of the Micro USB ports can be used for RS485 temperature and humidity probe.
– We recommend buying Micro USB Splitter Cable Adapter (One Male to Two Female) if you want to use external USB power-supply and two external probes at the same time.
Please note, when the TH30S-B probe connected with our WS1 Pro-L device, only temperature readings can be displayed on the screen.

FAQ
1. Does the device collect data when the network is unavailable?
Yes. The device continues to monitor the environment even when no network is available. It stores the data in its on-device memory and will sync it when you move it to a LoRa environment. Alternatively, you can manually export the data via our PC Offline Tool.
2. What kind of probe can be connected with the device?The WS1 Pro-L features two on-board USB ports. The lower port supports RS485 interface probes, including the TH30S-B, soil sensor, and PT-100, with a limit of one of each type connected at a time. Additionally, you can connect two temperature probes simultaneously using a USB splitter.
3. Is there any subscription fee for using the platform?
There is no need for a subscription to use the UbiBot Platform.
- Each device comes with the free plan on UbiBot platform that offers 200MB storage and 1GB outbound traffic. The 200MB storage is for lifetime and 1GB of outbound traffic is rotated monthly for each device. But any balance of the outbound traffic will not roll over to the next month. For example, if you have 500 MB outbound traffic unused this month, you still have 1 GB next month.
- The free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years amount of data in case your device takes temperature, humidity, and light sensor readings every 10 minutes.
4. How long will the batteries last?
With the sync interval of 1 to 30 minutes, the device has a battery life of 3 to 20 months using 4 AA alkaline batteries.
