The UbiBot WS4-A4G data logger is an industrial-grade temperature and humidity monitoring device designed for precise, real-time environmental measurement. Equipped with high-accuracy sensors and built-in 4G cellular connectivity, it enables reliable data transmission without relying on local WiFi networks, making it suitable for remote and mobile deployments.
The device features a dedicated Flight Mode, which completely disables wireless communication while continuing to log data locally. This function is particularly valuable for air transport, high-security sites, or environments with strict network access requirements.
Powered via a Type-C interface and supported by an integrated lithium battery, the UbiBot WS4-A4G data logger offers flexible installation and dependable long-term operation. Its intelligent data acquisition logic automatically adjusts sampling and upload intervals when preset thresholds are exceeded, ensuring timely alerts and rapid response to abnormal conditions.
With support for up to 300,000 locally stored records and automatic data backfill, the device maintains continuous monitoring even during network interruptions and synchronizes all stored data once the 4G connection is restored. The IP65-rated enclosure delivers strong resistance to dust and water, enabling stable performance in demanding environments. The WS4 series device has an IP65 protection rating, which effectively prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets. However, when exposed long-term to harsh outdoor environments (such as continuous rainfall, high humidity, or intense sunlight), there is still a potential risk of moisture or rainwater gradually infiltrating, which could affect the device’s long-term stability and service life.
It is recommended that for outdoor use, the device be installed in a weatherproof outdoor distribution box or other sheltered environment to enhance its reliability and durability in complex climatic conditions.

FAQ
1. Does the device collect data when the network is unavailable?
Yes. The device continues to monitor the environment even when no network is available. It stores the data in its on-device memory and will sync it when you move it to a 4G environment. Alternatively, you can manually export the data via our PC Offline Tool or WiFi AP.
2. Is there any subscription fee for using the platform?
There is no need for a subscription to use the UbiBot Platform.
- Each device comes with the free plan on UbiBot platform that offers 200MB storage and 1GB outbound traffic. The 200MB storage is for lifetime and 1GB of outbound traffic is rotated monthly for each device. But any balance of the outbound traffic will not roll over to the next month. For example, if you have 500 MB outbound traffic unused this month, you still have 1 GB next month.
- The free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years amount of data in case your device takes temperature, humidity, and light sensor readings every 10 minutes.
