The UbiBot WS4-A1RS data logger is a versatile environmental monitoring device designed for professional and industrial applications that demand accuracy, flexibility, and reliability. For scenarios requiring strict wireless control—such as air transport or secure facilities—the built-in Flight Mode disables all wireless communication while preserving local data logging, ensuring compliance without compromising data integrity.
The device features an intelligent data acquisition system that adapts automatically to environmental changes. When preset thresholds are exceeded, sampling and upload frequency increase, enabling prompt alerts and faster response to anomalies. With up to 300,000 records of onboard storage, the WS4-A1RS continues recording during network interruptions and automatically synchronizes data once connectivity is restored.
Built to withstand challenging conditions, the IP65-rated enclosure provides robust protection against dust and water. Powered via a Type-C interface and an internal lithium battery, the WS4-A1RS supports flexible installation and long-term, unattended operation. Multiple mounting options—including desktop, wall-mounted, and accessory-based installations—make it adaptable to a wide range of environments.

The WS4 series device has an IP65 protection rating, which effectively prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets. However, when exposed long-term to harsh outdoor environments (such as continuous rainfall, high humidity, or intense sunlight), there is still a potential risk of moisture or rainwater gradually infiltrating, which could affect the device’s long-term stability and service life.
It is recommended that for outdoor use, the device be installed in a weatherproof outdoor distribution box or other sheltered environment to enhance its reliability and durability in complex climatic conditions.

FAQ
1. Does the device collect data when the network is unavailable?
Yes. The device continues to monitor the environment even when no network is available. It stores the data in its on-device memory and will sync it when you move it to a WiFi environment. Alternatively, you can manually export the data via our PC Offline Tool or WiFi AP.
2. How to reset the device when my WiFi router password is changed?
Repeat the device setup steps and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: you need to type in the new WiFi password. All your data are kept unchanged when you changed the WiFi password or even you move the device to a new location.
3. Is there any subscription fee for using the platform?
There is no need for a subscription to use the UbiBot Platform.
- Each device comes with the free plan on UbiBot platform that offers 200MB storage and 1GB outbound traffic. The 200MB storage is for lifetime and 1GB of outbound traffic is rotated monthly for each device. But any balance of the outbound traffic will not roll over to the next month. For example, if you have 500 MB outbound traffic unused this month, you still have 1 GB next month.
- The free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years amount of data in case your device takes temperature, humidity, and light sensor readings every 10 minutes.
