Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) Transmitter
(AVC-910 Series)
Made in Taiwan
To define indoor air quality, it is important to monitor the concentration of several different gases or hazardous substance in air. Formaldehyde (HCHO) and total volatile organic compound (TVOC) would be the key factors to air quality. HCHO is a colorless, poisonous, highly water-soluble gas with an obnoxious odor. It can be emitted from a number of products in the home. Smoking, pressed wood, and particle board have all been shown to be sources of formaldehyde. Exposure to formaldehyde might increase the chance of getting cancer even at levels too low to cause symptoms; VOCs are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids, such as building materials and furnishings, office equipment, wood preservatives, cleansers and disinfectants, dry-cleaned clothing or stored fuels and automotive products, etc. AVC series air quality transmitter can measures the concentration of HCHO and TVOC, and also can send signal to monitoring center to control air purifying or ventilation system, depending on measurement result. This would be an efficient solution to ensure indoor air quality. The perfect applications are home, office, indoor parking, library, hospital, shopping mall and etc.
