The gateway connects to power and to your in-house network, and from there to the Internet. The gateway receives wireless communication from the wireless sensors within 100 meters/328 feet without any problems - even longer outdoors. You normally just need one gateway, but if your sensors are spread out over a huge area (outside of 100 meters) or if you have several physical locations (other homes; e.g., summer house), then you will need more.
Wireless battery powered temperature and humidity data loggers for fixing to a wall or appliance or temporarily placed on a surface or shelf. Automated data collection and upload to the web portal with [Push to record] function enabling an on the spot reading to be recorded.
Simple installation coupled with an easy to use Web Portal make the Sensorist® Pro a desirable solution for organisations wanting global access to their environmental data with minimal interaction with I.T and computers.
- Connect the GW001A-Pro gateway to a LAN socket or router and a mains power socket via the supplied cable and power supply.
- Press the button on each SN001A-Pro data logger with and the button on the GW001A-Pro gateway
- Access the web portal and rename your data loggers
